Favourites
Among many very good concerts I found my personal favourites which are shown in this category. And I must highlight one special band: Madrugada. As I told, I was a bit tired on Thursday and the pictures I took were ok, but not very special. But in the evening Madrugada pushed me up, it was a perfect concert, music, video and the musicians were extraordinary.
After this evening everything went well with my photos and I found more wonderful bands and presentations as the great Keb’ Mo’, the beautiful FolkBALTICA Ensemblet, singers like Margo Cilker and Siobhan Miller and this very artful project Efterklang mit Sønderjysk Pigekor. The phantastic final of this festival were for me The Small Glories from Canada in the Bolero.

Folk Spot
The Scandinavian folk is rich of ideas so as in every year the Folk Spot was an excellent source for good music, good impressions and of nice talks especially in the Folk spot Tent in the evening. The Bands of this years Folk Spot were:
Camping Sessions
At the end of the festival 2019 I talked to two young people who at that time were responsible for the Camping Scenen. We found out that they wanted pictures and I wanted a new project. So this year I placed my tent near this stage, well knowing that there would be action all over the night. I was surrounded by many young people and began to make my pictures in the tent of the Camping stage with performances and sessions.
Saturday evening I walked out to my tent at midnight and found one of the Session tents full of music. So I stepped in and asked if it would be ok making photos. They agreed and so I got access to one of the hearts of the festival: the visitors who are not only consuming music but also jam together until the morning.
